Gary Karpinski | Vice President
Gary has been involved in display fireworks for over 35 years. While working as a part-time pyrotechnician for about 20 years Gary held licenses in eight states and served as a consultant to several state fire marshals on technical and safety issues. Gary took a full time position with an internationally known display company in 2001. There he operated a sales region covering several states as well as teaching safety classes and designing/choreographing displays. Gary has been involved in the digital revolution in pyrotechnic production since the beginning – working on development of the first computer firing systems.
In 2005 Gary moved to another display company where he continued in his previous duties and became involved with product quality assurance and new product development. Since 2005 Gary has spent up to at least six weeks annually in China developing new products and assuring that all product is high quality, innovative, and safe. In 2009 Gary, along with several other colleagues left to a new startup display company, where he worked until leaving to start ARC Pyrotechnics in 2015.
Gary partnered with Levi in forming ARC Pyrotechnics, where the quality of the product, excellence in production with a commitment to safety reflects what he believes should be the foundation for what it takes to be the best display company to exceed the customer’s need and expectations. Gary has set the standard of display excellence and innovation in product and production. Gary has an excellent relationship with many factories and industry insiders in China and continues to push the envelope in new product and display innovations.
Gary Dill | Corporate Safety Officer
Major Gary Dill is our corporate safety officer. Gary was cross-trained as a police officer and firefighter, conducting hundreds of fire investigations. He has been an Emergency Medical Technician since 1982. Gary has attended several shooters schools and been the AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction) for public displays in Edmond, OK for over 10 years. Major Dill retired after over 34 years of service with the Edmond Fire Department. He currently has his State of Oklahoma and Oklahoma City pyrotechnics licenses and served on the Oklahoma display licensing committee.
Alan Clark | Safety Director
Alan has been involved in display fireworks for many years. Alan is a professional funeral director and has also been involved on a national scale with operations and recovery at disaster sites across the country. Alan instructs on and has authored many of the operational aspects for FEMA for first responders and coroner/recovery personnel. Alan is instituting NIMS as a procedural standard for display operation for ARC Pyrotechnics, Inc. Alan and Levi have been involved in writing the new law for Oklahoma regulating display operations and pyrotechnician certification.
